70,000 worshippers pray at Al-Aqsa

Around 70,000 Palestinians performed Isha and Taraweeh prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque on the 10th of Ramadan, despite strict Israeli restrictions.

Earlier, Israel tightened checkpoints from the West Bank, blocking hundreds, especially the elderly, yet about 100,000 worshippers attended Friday prayers. Over 280 expulsion orders were issued, forcing some to pray in Bab al-Rahma cemetery, where graves were desecrated.

Israeli forces also increased their presence around the mosque, setting up barriers and enforcing stricter controls during Ramadan.
