Yemenis Stage Million-Strong March, Vow Continued Support for Gaza, Confrontation of Enemies
The Yemeni people have once again turned out in massive, million-strong demonstrations in support of Gaza and to affirm their readiness to confront conspiracies. The awe-inspiring scene reflected a rising Yemeni fervor to thwart the schemes of US-Israeli enemies.
Sabeen Square hosted Friday million-strong crowds who marched under the slogan “Steadfast with Gaza.. We fear no threats and are not intimidated by conspiracies.” They carried on their shoulders the flags of Yemen and Palestine, images of the Holy Quran, and pictures of the martyred leaders. Slogans defiantly challenging the arrogant powers were strongly present, confirming to the American and Zionist enemies that Yemen grows more determined as conspiracies are exposed.
A giant Palestinian flag was the spearhead within the crowd and the focal point for the demonstrators. Palestine and Gaza were central to the popular messages and collective chants.
Participants denounced the shameful and exposed positions of Turkey, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia in supporting and backing the Zionist entity, while tightening the siege and starvation on Gaza and the two million Palestinians inside who are starving to death.
They condemned the subservience shown by normalization and puppet regimes towards the declared Zionist conspiracies, denouncing the announcement by the Golan Heights authorities of a meeting with a Zionist delegation in the French capital, Paris.
The crowds expressed high readiness to face all challenges and embark on all options announced by Sayyed Abdulmalik Badreddin al-Houthi, calling on all free people to mobilize energies and efforts and enhance the level of vigilance to thwart all the plots of the enemies, their tools, and their mercenaries.
A statement was issued by the march, in which the Yemeni people affirmed their “adherence to our position supporting Gaza and the oppressed Palestinian people, defending Gaza and Palestine, and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and all holy sites. We are fully certain and absolutely confident in the realization of God’s promise of victory for us, and His threat of loss and humiliation for our enemies until the Day of Judgment.”
It called on all normalized countries and regimes to “review their positions and stop all those betrayals; for they will bring them doom in this life and the hereafter, and let them know that God is watching them, and that the peoples will not forgive them for that.”
The statement also condemned “the announcement by the Zionist enemy, with American support, to implement a new phase of the savage, brutal aggression towards Gaza City.”
The Yemeni people renewed affirmation that they “strongly support the hands of the heroic mujahideen in the Palestinian Resistance, who are severely punishing the enemy in amazing and unprecedented operations, with steadfastness, patience, and self-sacrifice. We tell them we are with you and by your side, and we pray to God for your steadfastness and victory.”
It blessed “the operations of our Armed Forces in the sea and in the depth of the enemy, and we call on them for more escalation, development, and innovation.”
