Yemeni Operations Force Shipping Giants to Reroute, Impose New Maritime Discipline

A televised report by Almasirah channel indicated that Yemen has expanded the geography of its operations to include the northern Red Sea, which has forced major global shipping companies dealing with the enemy entity to change their routes, proving the success of these operations in achieving their objectives.
In an analysis revealing the depth of the Yemeni strategy, the maritime shipping magazine “Lloyd’s List” pointed to a remarkable paradox; while ships linked to the enemy are being targeted, ship traffic through the Bab el-Mandeb Strait increased by 10% in August compared to July, reaching its highest level since the beginning of 2024.
The magazine attributed this increase to the confidence and reassurance of global shipping companies in Yemeni measures, confirming that the Yemenis have sought to reassure the broader maritime sector that their ships will be safe as long as they comply with their rules—i.e., not being linked to the Zionist entity.
