The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has reiterated Yemen’s firm position in support of the Lebanese people and their valiant resistance against the ongoing Israeli aggression on Lebanon.
In a statement marking the first anniversary of the assassination of Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, his comrade Sayyed Hashem Safi al-Din, and their fellow fighters, the ministry said that Nasrallah devoted his life to resisting the Israeli occupation and defending the just causes of the Arab and Islamic nation, foremost among them the Palestinian cause.
The ministry stressed that the policy of assassinations pursued by Israel will only strengthen the resistance, fueling its resilience and sacrifices in pursuit of restoring usurped rights and achieving the promised victory.
“Although a year has passed since his martyrdom, he remains present in the conscience of the world’s free people and will remain immortal in the memory of generations,” the statement read, noting that the Yemeni people will not forget his steadfast support for Yemen since the first day of the aggression against it, with history recording his positions in its brightest pages.
The ministry further affirmed that Hezbollah today stands firm despite the heavy sacrifices, with field realities proving it remains a pioneering force carrying the banner and will emerge stronger than before. It called on the Lebanese people to maintain unity and reject division, stressing that Lebanese national unity is the rock upon which all Zionist conspiracies will shatter.
