Ma’ta more than 20 thousand children, 12 thousand women martyred by Israeli aggression during two years of Gaza genocide

The Palestinian Information Center Ma’ta issued a comprehensive statistical report on Monday on the occasion of two years since the genocide crime committed by the Israeli enemy army against civilians in the Gaza Strip documenting shocking numbers about the scale of the humanitarian catastrophe especially among children and women.

The center explained in its report titled “Two Years of Crimes Against Childhood in the Gaza Strip” received by the Yemeni News Agency SABA that more than 20 thousand children have been martyred since the beginning of the aggression including 450 infants who were born and martyred during the war while 1015 children under one year old were martyred and 154 children died as a result of famine.

The report indicated that the number of orphans reached 56348 children who lost one or both parents during the genocide while 650 thousand children face the risk of death due to malnutrition including 40 thousand infants threatened with death by starvation due to the shortage of infant formula pointing out that more than 5200 children need urgent medical evacuation to save their lives.

In another report titled “Two Years of Crimes Against Women in the Gaza Strip” the center revealed that the Israeli aggression claimed the lives of more than 12500 women including more than 9000 martyred mothers while 12000 miscarriage cases were recorded among pregnant women due to terror lack of healthcare or direct bombing.

It mentioned that there are about 21193 widows who lost their husbands during the genocide crime while more than 107 thousand pregnant or breastfeeding women face extreme danger due to the absence of medical care and the collapse of the health system in the Strip
