The Political Bureau of Ansarullah reiterated Yemen’s unwavering commitment to supporting the Palestinian cause on the second anniversary of the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood, praising the Palestinian people as “heroes of immense sacrifice and legendary steadfastness, who write with their blood and resistance the epic of freedom and dignity.”
In a statement, Ansarullah described the October 7, 2023, operation as a moral, national, and humanitarian necessity, emphasizing that it was a natural response to the crimes of the Zionist entity.
The statement highlighted that the operation occurred at a time “when the world had turned its back on the Palestinian cause and the suffering of more than two million Palestinians” in the Gaza Strip.
The statement stressed that it was incumbent upon the Yemeni people to join the battle of support on purely religious, ethical, and humanitarian grounds. Over the past two years, under the leadership of Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, Yemen has “set a unique example in backing Palestine,” with its Armed Forces’ operations making a significant impact acknowledged by the Zionist enemy and the powers of arrogance behind it.
The bureau emphasized that the Yemeni people made the ultimate sacrifices, with the Prime Minister and several ministers martyred on the path to Al-Quds. Yemen “will continue in the battle of support until the aggression stops and the blockade on Gaza is lifted,” the statement affirmed.
Ansarullah also saluted the Palestinian jihad and resistance factions, including Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and other resistance groups, praising the “supporting fronts of the resistance axis” for their heroism and for producing exemplary leaders who became martyrs.
The statement strongly condemned the “horrific war of extermination” launched by the Zionist entity against the Palestinian people, noting the “direct support from the United States,” which intervened to protect the temporary Zionist entity from imminent strikes by the resistance.
The bureau stressed that US political, military, and logistical backing makes Washington a partner in this war crime.
Ansarullah renewed its rejection of the genocide and ethnic cleansing carried out by the Zionist war machine against civilians in Gaza, denouncing “the policy of starvation, the blockade of humanitarian aid, and turning Gaza into a death trap.”
The statement called on Arab and Islamic states, as well as the international community, to pressure the Zionist entity to halt its aggression and lift the siege on Gaza, and urged support for the Palestinian people’s legitimate rights to self-determination and the establishment of an independent state on all of its lands.
The Political Bureau concluded by warning of a “new Zionist-American conspiracy,” expressing confidence in the wisdom and resilience of the Palestinian resistance factions, despite “enormous pressures from various sides,” including those who have shown only “crocodile tears” over Palestinian blood while remaining inactive during the past 24 months of this “crime of the century.”
