Ministry of Foreign Affairs praises positions of South Africa, Spain, Colombia, & Venezuela in support of Palestinian people

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Abdulwahid Abu Ras, praised the positions of South Africa, Spain, Colombia, and Venezuela in support of the rights of the Palestinian people.

In letters addressed to the foreign ministers of these countries, Abu Ras commended their support for international efforts aimed at halting the barbaric crimes of genocide, war, starvation, and siege committed by the Israeli entity against the people of Gaza.

He described these crimes as a blatant violation of all international laws and conventions, foremost among them international humanitarian law, international human rights law, and the 1948 Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide.

Abu Ras reaffirmed Yemen’s principled and unwavering stance in supporting all just causes of peoples, foremost among them the Palestinian cause.

The letters also highlighted the crimes committed by the Israeli entity in Yemen, including the targeting of civilians and civilian facilities, among them the attack on the Prime Minister of the Government of Change and Construction and several of his colleagues.

The Deputy Minister called for greater cooperation and coordination among nations through practical steps that meet the aspirations of free peoples around the world and put an end to the Israeli entity’s crimes and expansionist ambitions.
