Zionist enemy paves road to benefit settlements in Al-Quds, confiscates land in Beita

Today, Monday, Israeli occupation forces began paving and preparing a new road in the Jabal al-Tira area on the lands of Beit Duqqu, northwest of occupied Al-Quds.

According to Jerusalemite sources, the settlement road aims to connect and serve a new settlement outpost, which entails further land confiscation and fragmentation of the area, according to the Palestinian Shehab Agency.

The area has been witnessing escalating settlement expansion at the expense of residents’ lands in Beit Duqqu, through new settlement projects that consume large swaths of land as part of an accelerated Israeli plan to expand settlements and isolate the town from its Palestinian surroundings.

In a related development, Israeli forces also bulldozed lands and uprooted trees in the town of Beita, south of Nablus, on Monday evening. Local sources reported that the forces, accompanied by a military bulldozer, stormed the “Al-Khalal” area in Beita and began land leveling and uprooting olive trees.
