Following Friday prayers, major squares in Sana’a and other provinces held mass popular rallies under the slogan “Our Stance is Steadfast, and Mobilization Continues.” The gatherings sent clear messages of defiance to their adversaries and reaffirmed Yemen’s continued support for what they term “the nation’s causes.”
Participants chanted slogans of jihad and general mobilization, in a renewed confirmation that the popular will of the Yemeni people remains unbroken. The rallies, attended by social and popular leaders, emphasized that Yemen is now more cohesive and determined to protect its security and sovereignty and support the “oppressed” in Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria.
Participants affirmed their commitment to ongoing mobilization and maintaining a high state of readiness to confront any potential escalation by the enemy against Yemen. They indicated that the state of alert is active and that the people are prepared to respond to any attack targeting the country’s security and stability.
The rallies condemned the continued targeting of Gaza and the West Bank by the “Zionist enemy,” accusing it of violating agreements. They characterized a recent UN Security Council resolution as an attempt to legitimize the occupation of Gaza with international forces—a move seen as implementing what the U.S. and Israel failed to achieve directly, now under an “aggressive international cover.”
The statements also denounced the ongoing “Zionist assaults” on Lebanon and the escalating aggression against Syria, amid shameful international silence and systematic complicity that enables the enemy to expand its circle of criminality.
Direct messages were directed at the Saudi regime, warning against continuing to harm Yemen through economic warfare, blockade, and support for the American agenda. They considered the channeling of trillions into the U.S. treasury to fund wars as a “stain of disgrace” that no justifications can erase, affirming that Yemen will not accept any compromise to its security and independence.
The statements concluded by reaffirming Yemen’s steadfast stance in supporting Gaza, Hezbollah, and all the causes and sanctities of the nation, confirming that mobilization continues and readiness is high to confront any U.S. or Israeli escalation targeting the region.
Sana’a and other Yemen provinces have witnessed regular large-scale Friday demonstrations since the outbreak of the war in Gaza. These rallies are used to demonstrate popular support to maintain public mobilization for its military actions, including operations in the Red Sea.
