The capital, Sana’a, witnessed on Friday a large women’s rally west of Al-Thwra Park, denouncing repeated U.S. insults against the Holy Qur’an and the ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip.
The women of the Capital raised their voices, renewing their covenant with the Book of God and affirming that any affront to the Holy Qur’an is an affront to the nation’s creed, dignity, and identity.
Participants stated that the heinous crime committed by an American criminal—placing a copy of the Holy Qur’an in the mouth of a pig—is not an isolated individual act, but rather a blatant expression of deep-rooted Zionist-American hatred toward Islam and its sanctities.
They chanted resounding faith-based slogans, affirming that the Holy Qur’an is preserved by God’s promise, and that all attempts at desecration will only increase the nation’s adherence to the Book of its Lord and its rejection of tyranny and global arrogance.
A statement issued by the rally affirmed that the crime of insulting the Holy Qur’an represents a resounding moral collapse of the so-called Western civilization, exposing the falsity of its slogans about freedom and human rights, and constitutes a flagrant assault on the feelings of more than two billion Muslims across the world.
The statement held the United States, Britain, and the Zionist enemy fully responsible for the repeated insults, which reflect their hatred , open hostility toward Islam , Muslims, are consistent with their long criminal record of aggression, occupation, violation of sanctities, and the killing of innocents and prophets without right.
It stressed that these crimes will not pass under any deceptive cover such as “freedom of expression” or other false labels, noting that such slogans completely collapse whenever the crimes of the Zionist enemy are criticized in the United States and Western countries. They are only permitted, the statement said, to be used to insult God, His Noble Book, His prophets and messengers, while the only thing considered sacred to them is the Zionist entity.
The statement called on the Islamic nation to take urgent action and mobilize comprehensively to express anger and categorical rejection of this heinous crime targeting the most sacred sanctities of Islam, and demanded a boycott of American and Israeli products so that Muslims do not become partners in their crimes.
Addressing the sons of the Islamic nation, the statement said: “In this Qur’an lies your remembrance, honor, dignity, and salvation in this world and the Hereafter. If you do not become angry for your religion, your sanctities, and your Qur’an, then for what will you be angry? And if you have no stance today, then when?”
It warned that silence and complacency will bring God’s wrath, disgrace in this world, and punishment in the Hereafter.
The statement affirmed the continuation along the path of faith and jihad, steadfastness in the honorable stance of supporting the oppressed Palestinian Muslim people, and high readiness to confront upcoming rounds of conflict. It pledged to counter all enemy plots targeting Yemen , the entire nation through mobilization, public activities and marches, spending in the cause of God, and comprehensive action until victory.
The statement also strongly condemned the shameful gas deal—described as the largest in the history of the Zionist enemy—concluded by the Egyptian authorities with the enemy entity, considering it a reward for its crimes against the Palestinian people in Gaza , a disregard for its aggressive intentions , expansionist plans toward Egypt and the rest of the Arab and Islamic countries.
It called for the cancellation of the deal and for refraining from tarnishing Egypt’s history and the struggle of its people against the Zionist entity, stressing that the revenues of this deal will be used to bolster the Zionist war machine and target the entire nation.
