Monitor: 50 Israeli Enemy Incursions into Syrian Territory Since Beginning of December

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights confirmed that Quneitra Governorate and the Damascus countryside have witnessed, since the beginning of December until today Sunday, a gradual field escalation represented by a series of incursions and movements carried out by Israeli enemy forces inside Syrian territory, totaling 50 incursions and violations.

The Observatory explained on its website that these incursions and movements included military patrols, the establishment of checkpoints, reconnaissance operations, raids, and arrests.

It said these developments come amid rising tension along the border strip and growing concern among residents, alongside UN movements to monitor the violations and assess their field and humanitarian repercussions.

The Observatory detailed the 50 Zionist incursions and violations inside Syrian territory, particularly in southern Syria, noting that these intensive “Israeli” movements have negatively affected civilians’ lives, mobility, and their ability to carry out normal daily and livelihood activities.

It added that thousands of Syrians have become unable to cultivate their land, harvest their crops, or perform their work as a result of these Zionist threats and violations.
