The General Directorate of Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip announced on Thursday that its teams carried out more than 12,051 missions during 2025.
In a brief statement seen by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Directorate indicated that these missions included firefighting, rescue, and ambulance operations, in addition to field patrols and other tasks.
With American and European support, the Israeli enemy army has committed genocide, siege, and starvation crimes in the Gaza Strip for more than two consecutive years since October 7, 2023.
These crimes have resulted in the deaths of 71,271 Palestinian civilians, the majority of whom are children and women, and injuries to 171,233 others to date, in a preliminary count, as thousands of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue teams.
