Saudi Aggression Airstrikes Hit Military Site in Yemen’s Occupied Hadhramaut

The Revolution Leader, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, called for a firm and effective Arab and Islamic stance to support the Somali people , stand by them, and to thwart the Israeli enemy’s attempts to establish a foothold in Somaliland, undermine regional stability, and fragment its unity as part of an Israeli plan to reshape the Middle East.

He affirmed that Yemen will take all possible measures to support Somalia, noting that any Israeli presence in Somaliland would be considered a military target for the Yemeni armed forces, as it constitutes aggression against Somalia , Yemen and a threat to regional security. He also called on all countries on both shores of the Red Sea, as well as the Arab and Islamic worlds, to take practical steps to stop the Israeli enemy’s violation of Somalia , other Arab and Islamic countries.

The presence of the Israeli entity in Somalia represents a dangerous precedent, as it could be used as a platform to carry out hostile activities against Somalia, Yemen, African countries, and Arab states, in addition to directly affecting the security of the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.

Historically, many had not heard much about “Somaliland,” which declared independence from Somalia in the early 1990s but did not receive international recognition until the emergence of recent Israeli moves. Somaliland had lived on the margins of Arab and international attention for decades, until Israeli recognition brought it into the sphere of regional and international conflicts.

Zionist recognition has enabled the Israeli entity to use Somalia as a platform for attacks on Yemeni territory and as a foothold for striking Iran. Thus, Somaliland’s strategic location turns into a dangerous point if it becomes an ally of Israel, as this would deepen regional divisions and further facilitate Israeli penetration into the Arab and African regions.

If we look more deeply into the issue, we arrive at a bitter truth: Arab and Islamic countries bear part of the responsibility for this dangerous situation. For thirty years, these countries failed to make genuine efforts to resolve disputes between Somaliland and the Somali central government, ultimately leading to the very outcome that was feared.

This reality requires Arab and Islamic countries to make coordinated efforts to resolve the Somali crisis and unify the country into a single state, in order to safeguard Arab, African, and international national security.
