Syria… Zionist force penetrates Quneitra countryside with 5 vehicles & raids house

A force belonging to the Israeli army infiltrated the southern countryside of Quneitra Governorate in southern Syria early this morning, Saturday, via the Abu Rajm crossing west of the village of Ain al-Qadi, in a new military move that stirred tensions in the area.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) stated on its website that the infiltrating Zionist force included five military vehicles, entered the village, raided and searched a house, and then withdrew later, without any arrests being reported.

The Observatory noted that this incursion comes in the context of repeated Israeli violations in the Quneitra countryside, amid residents’ fears of potential escalation or recurrence of such operations in the coming period.

Earlier today, the SOHR documented a new field incursion carried out by an Israeli military force deep into Syrian territory in the southern Quneitra countryside.

According to the Observatory, eight military vehicles entered the village of “Bariqa,” including four armored “Humvee” vehicles and four “Hilux” 4x4s.

The force split, with two Humvees and two Hilux vehicles moving from the center of Bariqa village toward the “Old Bariqa” area.

The Observatory pointed out that this Israeli movement was limited to infiltration and local deployment, without conducting house searches or making arrests of residents in the area.
