Ayatollah Khamenei: Iranian people are present in arena, aware, know their enemy

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, praised on Monday the massive million-strong demonstrations that filled the streets of the capital Tehran in condemnation of the sabotage acts, emphasizing that “the Iranian people are strong, powerful, aware, know their enemy, and are present in the arena in all circumstances.”

Ayatollah Khamenei said in a message to the Iranian people: “O great people of Iran… today you have accomplished a great deed and recorded a historic day.”

He affirmed that “these massive crowds, filled with firm determination, have thwarted the plots of foreign enemies that were to be carried out by mercenaries within.”

He added: “The great Iranian people displayed themselves, their resolve, and their identity in the face of the enemies; and that was a warning to American policymakers to put an end to their deception and not bet on treacherous mercenaries.”
