Lebanese Army: Continuation of Israeli assaults flagrant violation of Country’s sovereignty & ceasefire agreement

The Lebanese Army, on Wednesday evening, considered the continuation of Israeli assaults and violations against Lebanon, targeting civilian buildings and homes in several areas, most recently in southern villages, a flagrant violation of the country’s sovereignty, its security, the agreement to halt hostilities, and Resolution 1701.

According to the Lebanese National News Agency, the Army stated in a communiqué that these condemned assaults hinder the Army’s efforts, obstruct the completion of its plan implementation, lead to the intimidation of civilians and result in martyrs and wounded among them, in addition to displacing tens of families who have lost their homes.

The communiqué added that this “negatively impacts the stability in the region.”

The agency reported that hostile warplanes launched a raid around 6:35 PM today, targeting the threatened building in the town of Ansar, leading to the complete destruction of the building.

Hostile warplanes also targeted a building in Al-Kharayeb – Joura Al-Najjasa, after having issued a warning to bombard it along with a building in the Al-Qala’ neighborhood.

The agency stated that hostile warplanes launched another raid targeting the second threatened building in Al-Kharayeb – Al-Qala’ neighborhood.

The Israeli enemy had issued a new urgent warning to the residents of Al-Kharayeb and Ansar villages, instructing them to evacuate the buildings marked in red on the attached maps and the buildings adjacent to them, and to distance themselves from them by no less than 300 meters.
