Deputy Foreign Minister praises Russia’s position on Yemeni issue

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Abdulwahid Aburas discussed on Sunday, via videoconference, with the Russian Ambassador to Yemen, Yevgeny Kudrov, the latest developments on the Yemeni and regional scenes.

During the meeting, the Deputy Foreign Minister affirmed the depth of the relations linking the two friendly countries and peoples, and the aspiration to enhance and develop them in various fields.

He praised Russia’s balanced positions regarding the aggression and the blockade on Yemen, including its stance on the recent decision adopted by the Security Council.

For his part, the Russian Ambassador to Yemen affirmed his country’s support for efforts aimed at achieving peace in Yemen and alleviating the humanitarian suffering of the Yemeni people.
