United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres said on Tuesday that more than 500 Palestinians have been killed in the Gaza Strip since the ceasefire agreement reached last October.
In a post on the X platform, , Guterres called for the full implementation of the agreement, adherence to international law, and the unimpeded and widespread passage of humanitarian aid.
Earlier today, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that the total number of Palestinians killed by Israeli fire since the ceasefire on October 10 has reached 529, with 1,462 injuries, in flagrant violation of the ceasefire agreement.
The ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip came into effect on October 10, following a two-year-long Israeli offensive. However, the Israeli army continues to violate the agreement daily and still prevents the entry of most humanitarian aid into the Strip.
