Yemen.. A Firm Principled Stance in Supporting the Palestinian Cause

On friday,  the Yemeni people took to the streets in million-person marches in the capital, Sana’a, and across all governorates, affirming their continued support for their brethren in Gaza and their high state of readiness to confront the enemies and their lackeys.

The million-person marches came in response to the call of the mujahideen brethren in Palestine and heeding the call of the Revolution Leader, Mr. Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, raising the slogan, “Answering the Call and Supporting the Palestinian People… We are Steadfast and Ready for the Next Round.”

These marches reaffirmed the principled stance of the Yemeni people and their full readiness to stand firmly in any confrontation with the American Zionist enemy, which will not be like its predecessors.

The masses declared in statements issued their solidarity and standing alongside their brethren in Palestine, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Lebanon in confronting American-Zionist tyranny and arrogance, which continues its expansionist and destructive projects targeting all the peoples of the nation.

In truth, the Republic of Yemen has singularly presented an honorable model in supporting the Palestinian cause, not with words but with weapons, which has directly and disturbingly impacted the enemy entity, inflicting economic, political, and military damage upon it. This has led to the closure of Israeli airports and ports under the effect of Yemeni strikes with advanced ballistic missiles and drones, confirming that the Yemeni Republic’s support for the Palestinian cause and its valiant resistance is a correct, irreversible strategic choice regardless of the repercussions and outcomes.

Now, we can say that only the Republic of Yemen remains in the Arab region as an independent, sovereign state that makes its decisions based on its Arab and international commitments, and its stance on what the Zionist entity is doing in Gaza is clear at the international level.

The principled and influential Yemeni stance in backing the Palestinian cause is not a tactical or temporary measure, but a permanent and comprehensive strategy. It is not a matter of political posturing or opportunism, but rather a sincere and steadfast faith-based stance in support of a people struggling for the right to exist and to reclaim their usurped lands.
