Revolution Leader: What’s Happening in Region Is Imposing Paradigm of Violence and Accepting It Is Very Great Danger
The leader of the revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, affirmed that the unfolding events are centered around a very dangerous point for the nation, namely, the imposition of a paradigm of violation against it and its acceptance by the nation.
In a speech today in preparation for the holy month of Ramadan 1447 AH, the leader said, “The unfolding events revolve around, or are centered on, a very dangerous point for the nation, one we have repeatedly warned against: the attempt to impose a paradigm of violation against it and for it to become a daily occurrence, accepted by the nation. This is a catastrophe and a major calamity.”
He pointed out that what is happening in the region is part of imposing a formula of permissiveness, and accepting it poses a very serious danger to all the peoples of the region.
He added, “What the Israeli enemy is trying to implement in the region in general is a very serious danger. We must understand that events are linked to imposing a formula, and the situation will be the same when control is established over any other Arab or Muslim country. People will be watching what is happening to the resistance fighters in Gaza and the situation with Hezbollah in Lebanon.”
In his opening remarks, the leader of the revolution spoke about the psychological and mental preparation for the blessed month of Ramadan, noting that, by the grace of God, the dear Yemeni people are among the most devoted to this holy month.
He explained that this prior preparation helps individuals enter Ramadan with the focus and focus necessary to seize the opportunities of this great month, emphasizing that Muslims are aware of the sanctity of Ramadan.
He further pointed out that Ramadan should be viewed as a transformative month that impacts the lives of individuals and, consequently, their daily lives.
The leader of the revolution discussed the most important victories that took place in the month of Ramadan and had an impact that extends until the Day of Judgment, which should be viewed as a month of jihad.
He explained that the obligation of fasting has an important educational benefit and has an impact on other levels, and therefore attention should be paid to performing this great pillar.
He pointed out that the obligation of fasting bears fruit for those who benefit from it in terms of righteousness, improved relationships with others, and, most importantly, a stronger relationship with God Almighty. He explained that fasting instills in a person a positive will to do good, perform righteous deeds, and cultivates cohesion and discipline, all of which contribute to their uprightness.
He noted that some systems have removed important responsibilities from their list of priorities, such as jihad in the path of God to protect the nation and repel evil from it.
He further explained that fasting has also been divorced from its educational role and its consequences, emphasizing that enemies, through soft warfare, target the nation’s connection to God’s guidance and religion, aiming to sever any link that might protect it from the enemies’ misguidance.
He pointed out that humans need reminders of God and continuous self-purification, adding, “We are facing dangers and challenges that necessitate a strong sense of urgency to embrace the obligation of fasting with a conscious commitment, seizing the opportunity to the fullest extent possible.”
The leader of the revolution emphasized the urgent need to address the state of the Muslim world educationally, especially when we consider the current state of the two billion Muslims, characterized by weakness, disunity, lack of awareness, and dire imbalances.
Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi stressed the importance of reciting and listening to the Quran, engaging with its culture, and participating in the Ramadan program.
He emphasized the importance of cooperation and charity towards the poor and needy during Ramadan more than in any other month.
In his address, the leader touched upon the Night of Power (Laylat al-Qadr) and the necessity of focusing and preparing for it from the beginning of Ramadan in order to be blessed by it.
He explained that patience is a means by which a person can achieve great results, noting the importance of showing compassion and support during Ramadan more than at other times.
