Larijani Vows to Burn US, Israel as Their Hearts Burned for Khamenei

Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Secretary, Ali Larijani, said on Sunday that “the enemy is delusional if it thinks that assassinating leaders can destabilize Iran,” stressing that his country will respond forcefully.

He added in statements to Iranian media: “We will burn the heart of America and Israel as our hearts burned for the Iranian Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei,” according to Sputnik.

Larijani affirmed that “the Iranian response was clear, and the armed forces are in a state of full readiness,” emphasizing that “future strikes will be more painful for the Americans than before,” and that the nation and its armed forces will defend the country’s sovereignty.

He considered that “the response will be stronger than what happened previously.”

He indicated that “plans have been prepared to arrange the leadership in accordance with the constitution,” announcing that “a temporary leadership council will soon be formed based on the provisions of the Iranian constitution.” Larijani accused Israel of “seeking to divide Iran, in cooperation with the United States, with the aim of plundering the wealth of the Iranian people.”

He affirmed that his country has chosen “resistance” and will not tolerate any actions targeting its territorial integrity.
