The Muslim Brotherhood condemned the US-Israeli assault on the Islamic Republic of Iran, describing it as an attack on a sovereign state “without any legal or moral justification,” and expressed condolences to the victims who fell as a result of this brutal aggression.
The statement, said the orchestrated attack on Tehran and other Iranian cities is not merely an “illegal” attempt to change Iran’s government, but rather seeks to subjugate the region to fulfill Israel’s ambitions for regional domination—a mirage that will remain unattainable for the occupiers.
It added that targeting Arab capitals, which are not part of the conflict, represents a deviation from the correct path and increases the risks of the regional war spreading.
The statement emphasized that this situation requires Arab and Islamic leaders to assess the current moment and the challenges facing their peoples, work toward strategic independence militarily , economically, enhance cooperation and coordination to counter the expansionist plans of the occupiers, which aim to undermine regional security, stability, the sovereignty and unity of nations.
The Brotherhood called on all parties, regional leaders, and the free world to immediately stop the war.
On Saturday morning, the United States and Israel launched a new aggression against Iran, claiming the lives of hundreds of civilians.
In response, Iran announced the launch of “Operation Al-Waad Al-Sadiq 4” against the Israeli entity and U.S. bases in the region.
