IRGC: US Destroyer Destroyed 600 Kilometers Away in Indian Ocean

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Iran announced on Wednesday the destruction of a US destroyer using Qadr-380 and Talaieh missiles.

Statement No. 19 of Operation “True Promise 4” stated: “The IRGC Navy carried out a missile operation against a US strategic target more than 600 kilometers deep in the Indian Ocean, resulting in a powerful and effective strike,” according to Tasnim News Agency.

The statement continued, “In a series of actions within this significant operation, the IRGC Navy struck a US destroyer that was refueling from a US supply ship 600 kilometers off the Iranian coast in the Indian Ocean, using Qadr-380 and Talaieh missiles.”

According to intelligence reports, the large fire that broke out on board the two ships darkened the sky over the ocean.
