Iranian Health Ministry: 926 Martyrs, 6,186 Wounded in US-Israeli aggression

The Iranian Ministry of Health announced Wednesday evening that 926 citizens were martyred and 6,186 others were wounded as a result of the ongoing US-Israeli aggression against Iran, which began last Saturday morning.

A spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Health explained that 2,054 of the wounded required hospitalization, while 3,545 were treated and discharged immediately. An additional 552 wounded received treatment at the scene, according to Al-Manar, the website of the Lebanese Hezbollah.

The spokesperson indicated that 502 surgical procedures were performed on the wounded. He noted that 301 of the wounded were under the age of 18, including 39 children under the age of five. The youngest wounded was a six-month-old baby in Bostanabad, while the oldest wounded was a 91-year-old man in Kamyaran.

Regarding the martyrs, he reported that 180 martyrs were under the age of 18, including three children under the age of five, and the youngest martyr was a one-year-old child in Tehran.
