Iranian Embassy in Doha Denies Rumors of Its Evacuation

The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Doha denied on Saturday evening the circulating news regarding the Qatari authorities granting the embassy members a one-week deadline to leave the country.

The Iranian Embassy in Doha said in a statement that, against the backdrop of the spread of some rumors in a number of media outlets and social networks concerning the Iranian embassy in Qatar, what has been circulated about the Qatari government granting embassy members a one-week deadline to leave the country is baseless and completely devoid of truth, according to Iran’s Tasnim News Agency.

The statement added that publishing such rumors and incorrect news aims to create confusion in public opinion and harm the brotherly relations between the two countries.

Last Saturday morning, February 28, America and the Zionist entity began a new aggression against Iran, which resulted in hundreds of civilian casualties and targeted schools, hospitals, mosques, and other capabilities of the Iranian people.

In response to the aggression, Iran launched Operation “True Promise 4” against the Zionist entity and American bases in the region.
