Government Media Office in Gaza: Number of Martyred Journalists Rises to 261

The Government Media Office in Gaza announced today, Monday, that the number of Palestinian journalists martyred since the beginning of the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip on October 7 has risen to 261, following the announcement of the assassination of journalist Amal Shamali, a correspondent for Qatar Radio.

In a statement , the office condemned in the strongest terms the systematic targeting, killing, and assassination of Palestinian journalists by the Israeli enemy. It called upon the International Federation of Journalists, the Federation of Arab Journalists, and all journalistic bodies worldwide to condemn these systematic crimes against Palestinian journalists and media professionals in the Gaza Strip.
