Reuters Reveals Nearly 150 US Soldiers Injured So Far in Aggression Against Iran Amid Pentagon Secrecy

Reuters revealed on Tuesday evening a new statistic regarding the number of US soldiers injured in the Israeli-American aggression against Iran, despite the Pentagon’s secrecy about the true number of casualties.

Reuters quoted two informed sources as saying that up to 150 US soldiers have been injured so far in the war on Iran.

This figure was not previously announced and is significantly higher than the number announced by the Department of Defense (the Pentagon) before Reuters published its report, which stated only eight serious injuries among US forces.

In a statement released after Reuters published its report, the US Department of Defense (Pentagon) estimated the number of wounded at approximately 140, claiming that the vast majority sustained minor injuries.

Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell said, “Since the start of the operation… approximately 140 US service members have been wounded during the 10 days of continuous attacks.”

He claimed that 108 of the wounded service members had already returned to duty, noting that eight of the seriously wounded service members were receiving the highest level of medical care.

Neither Reuters nor the US spokesman mentioned the actual number of fatalities, though it is believed that the true number is much higher, especially given the US military’s media blackout on its casualties.

On the morning of Saturday, February 28, the US and Israel launched a new offensive against Iran, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of civilians and targeting schools, hospitals, mosques, and other infrastructure belonging to the Iranian people. In response to the aggression, Iran launched Operation “True Promise 4” against the Zionist entity and American bases in the region.
