Lebanese Resistance Targets, Engages Advancing Israeli Force

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon announced today, Wednesday, that it targeted an Israeli force on Tuesday evening as it advanced towards the Khanouq area in the border town of Aitaroun. The force was targeted with artillery fire and then engaged with light and medium weapons.

The Resistance confirmed that this action comes in response to the criminal Israeli aggression that has targeted dozens of Lebanese cities and towns, as well as the southern suburbs of Beirut.

In its statement No. 30, the Islamic Resistance said, “After observing an Israeli force advancing towards the Khanouq area in the border town of Aitaroun at 10:00 PM on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, Islamic Resistance fighters targeted it with artillery fire, followed by direct clashes with light and medium weapons. These clashes are still ongoing at the time of this statement.”

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon has escalated its operations against Israeli targets in response to the recent surge in Israeli aggression.
