The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced today, Wednesday, the martyrdom of 9 citizens and the wounding of 13 others in raids launched by the Israeli enemy on the towns of Qana, Al-Housh, and Hanawiya in the Tyre district of southern Lebanon.
In separate statements carried by the Lebanese National News Agency, the Ministry reported that successive raids launched by the Israeli enemy on the town of Qana, in the Tyre district, resulted in the martyrdom of five citizens and the wounding of five others.
It added that an Israeli enemy raid on the Al-Housh area in Tyre resulted in the martyrdom of one citizen and the wounding of eight others. The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that two Israeli airstrikes on the town of Hanawiya, in the Tyre district, resulted in the deaths of three civilians, including a paramedic. The Ministry stated that the first strike wounded two civilians, and when the paramedic arrived to treat them, a second Israeli airstrike killed all three.
In its statement, the Ministry condemned the repeated targeting of paramedics while they were carrying out their humanitarian duties and reiterated its appeal to the international community to put an end to this ongoing aggression.
The Israeli enemy continues its criminal aggression against Lebanon, targeting Lebanese towns, villages, and cities. It has intensified its airstrikes on Lebanon, coinciding with the aggression launched by the United States and the Zionist entity against Iran.
