UN Calls for Impartial Investigation into School Attack in Iran

The Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights called on Thursday for those responsible for the attack on a school in the Iranian city of Minab to compensate the victims’ families.

The organization’s spokesperson, Thamin al-Khitan, told Sputnik: “The High Commissioner (Volker Türk) calls for an immediate, impartial, and thorough investigation into the circumstances of the attack, the responsibility for the investigation lies with the forces that carried out the attack. We call on them to publish the results of the investigation, ensure that those responsible are held accountable, and compensate the victims of the attack.”
