Leap in Gas Prices following Zionist-American attack on Iran targeting World’s Largest Gas Field

Gas prices in European markets leaped on Wednesday following the Zionist-American attack on Iran’s “South Pars” field, which is the largest gas field in the world.

By 15:17 Sana’a time, futures contracts for gas for next April at the Dutch TTF hub rose by 1.35% to reach $632.5 per thousand cubic meters, equivalent to 52.26 euros per megawatt/hour, according to the “Russia Today” website.

Blue fuel prices witnessed an increase after several Iranian facilities in the “South Pars” and “Assaluyeh” fields were attacked by the Zionist-American entity.

Bloomberg News Agency mentioned that some production stages in the “South Pars” field were temporarily halted, and that the strike targeting “Assaluyeh” could affect supplies of condensate gas used in the petrochemical industries.

The agency reported that the strikes on the “South Pars” and “Assaluyeh” fields could indicate an escalation of the conflict, as Iran’s energy infrastructure had remained relatively protected during the Zionist-American aggression until now.
