Number of victims of Israeli aggression on Lebanon rises to 1,029 martyrs, 2,786 wounded

The death toll from the Israeli aggression on Lebanon rose to 1,029 martyrs and 2,786 wounded on Sunday, since the start of the latest Zionist escalation on March 2.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health, in a daily statistical report published by the National News Agency, stated that the Israeli aggression resulted in five martyrs and 46 wounded in the past 24 hours.

The report indicated that among the total number of martyrs are 118 children and 79 women, and among the wounded are 372 children and 424 women. The number of martyrs in the health sector reached 40, and the number of wounded reached 119.

The Israeli enemy escalated its criminal aggression against Lebanon, targeting Lebanese towns, villages, and cities, intensifying its raids in conjunction with the aggression launched by the United States and the Zionist entity against Iran.
