Araghchi: US soldiers use Gulf citizens as human shields

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated on Thursday that since the beginning of the war, US soldiers have fled their military bases in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries to hide in hotels and offices, using GCC citizens as human shields.

He added in a post on “X” platform, monitored by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba): “Hotels in the United States refuse to accommodate officers who might endanger guests, and hotels in the GCC countries should follow suit.”

On February 28, the US and Israel launched a new aggression against Iran, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of civilians and targeting schools, hospitals, mosques, and other infrastructure belonging to the Iranian people.

In response to this aggression, Iran launched Operation “True Promise 4” against Israel and US bases in the region.
