Iran intercepts, destroys two hostile cruise missiles

The Iranian army announced Tuesday that its air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed two US-Israeli cruise missile in northern Tehran and Hamadan region.

The Fars News Agency quoted the army’s public relations office as saying, “A few hours ago, the army’s air defense systems successfully intercepted and shot down two hostile US-Israeli cruise missiles in northern Tehran and Hamadan region, hitting and destroying them.”

On February 28, the US and Israel launched a new aggression against Iran, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of civilians and targeting schools, hospitals, mosques, and other infrastructure belonging to the Iranian people.

In response to this aggression, Iran launched Operation “True Promise 4” against Israel and US bases in the region.
