Ansarullah Affirms Lebanon’s Right to Resist Israeli Enemy Aggression

Ansarullah Political Bureau affirmed Lebanon and the Islamic Resistance have the legitimate right to respond to Israeli enemy aggression, calling on the peoples of the region and free nations worldwide to show solidarity with the Lebanese people against Zionist arrogance.

In a statement issued Wednesday, Ansarullah condemned the horrific crimes committed by the Israeli enemy against Lebanon, which left hundreds of civilians killed and wounded.

The statement concedered the attacks as evidence of the brutal hatred of the Zionist enemy toward Lebanon and the broader Arab and Islamic world.

The statement added that the criminal Zionist entity, stained with the blood of children and women in Gaza and across the region, suffered a resounding defeat in this war.

It noted that the Israeli enemy is attempting to compensate for its loss by committing further brutal crimes against civilians.

Ansarullah labeled the Israeli enemy’s attack on Lebanon a massacre, carried out in full view of the United Nations and international human rights organizations.

The statement stressed that these crimes will not weaken the Lebanese people or their heroic resistance, but instead strengthen their resolve to continue the path of jihad and resistance, proving the legitimacy of resisting aggression while rejecting submission and concessions that only embolden the enemy’s tyranny and brutality.

Iran declared a “historic victory” following the war of aggression by the United States and the Israeli enemy that lasted 40 days, announcing that Washington had been forced to accept a 10-point Iranian proposal.

One of the points in the proposal called for the immediate cessation of US-Israeli hostilities on all fronts, including in Lebanon.

However, hours after the ceasefire was announced, the Israeli regime targeted multiple locations in Lebanon, including the capital, Beirut, killing hundreds of civilians.

According to reports, the Israeli enemy launched at least 100 airstrikes in under 10 minutes, targeting areas across the country. Local media said that at least 100 people were killed in Beirut alone.

It was described as the heaviest Israeli bombardment against Lebanon since the regime started fresh aggression on the Arab country in early March, concurrent with the war of aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
