Euro-Med Monitor: Over 100 killed monthly in Gaza despite ceasefire

The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor warned Monday that more than 100 people are still being killed every month in Gaza, even though a ceasefire has been in place for over six months.

It said this is not a true lull but a continuation of genocide — just quieter and less visible.

Since October 7, 2023, with US and European support, the Israeli military has killed at least 72,553 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and wounded 172,296 others. Thousands more remain trapped under rubble.

Earlier Monday, Gaza’s Health Ministry said that since the October 10 ceasefire, Israeli forces have killed 777 Palestinians and wounded 2,193 — a clear violation of
