Hezbollah Launches New Missile Strike, Drone Hits near Israeli Helicopter

Hezbollah announced it struck Israeli military vehicles and troop concentrations in the Tel al-Nahas area near Kafr Kila in southern Lebanon with guided missiles, escalating its retaliatory attacks against repeated Israeli ceasefire violations.

Hezbollah warned that continued Israeli aggression and ceasefire breaches would be met with resistance.

A drone launched by Hezbollah struck just meters away from an Israeli helicopter.

Israeli media released footage showing a Hezbollah drone targeting Israeli soldiers during a casualty evacuation operation in Taybeh, southern Lebanon.

According to Israel’s Army Radio, Hezbollah launched two attack drones at Israeli forces during the evacuation.

One drone hit only a few meters from the helicopter transporting wounded Israeli soldiers.

Hebrew media reported that three injured Israeli soldiers were airlifted from southern Lebanon to Rambam Hospital in occupied territories for emergency surgery.

An Israeli military analyst admitted the regime is trapped in its own quagmire in Lebanon.

Yoav Limor, a military analyst for Israel Hayom, stated that while Israel controls multiple positions in southern Lebanon, it struggles to fully secure its northern settlements and military outposts.

Limor added that Hezbollah’s latest attack on the Golani Brigade in Taybeh killed one soldier and wounded several others.

“Israel thought it had trapped Hezbollah in a strategic quagmire, but it is Israel that is now trapped,” the analyst concluded.

Limor warned that without a rapid withdrawal from Lebanon, spring and summer could become a “bloody season” for Israeli troops.
