Iranian Army spokesman Brigadier General Mohammad Akrami Nia announced on Tuesday that the joint air defense systems of the Iranian Army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) shot down 16 fighter jets and more than 170 drones belonging to US and Israeli forces during the confrontations known as the “Ramadan War.”
Akrami Nia explained in a press statement, according to Fars News Agency, that the downed aircraft included drones equipped with highly advanced technologies, noting that some enemy drones surpass conventional fighter jets in both technical performance and cost.
