Deputy Foreign Minister sends message to Iranian Foreign Minister on Imam Khomeini’s passing anniversary

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Abdulwahid Abu Ras sent a message to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Abbas Araghchi, on the occasion of the 37th anniversary of the passing of Imam Ruhollah Mousavi Khomeini.

The Deputy Foreign Minister praised in his message the virtues of Imam Khomeini and what he represented as a school of thought based on confronting injustice, liberating from dependency, achieving independence, opposing global arrogance, and strengthening solidarity among the peoples of the Islamic nation, as well as supporting the just causes of the nation, foremost among them the Palestinian cause.

He noted that this anniversary comes at a time when the Islamic Republic of Iran is still facing a brutal aggression and unjust blockade imposed by the United States and the Israeli enemy entity, under which the aggressors have failed to achieve their goals thanks to the steadfastness of the Iranian armed forces and the unity and resilience of the Iranians, who have stood as a solid rock against which all plots and conspiracies have been shattered.

Abu Ras concluded his message by reaffirming Yemen’s stance and its full solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran and its brotherly people in confronting the US-Israeli aggression
