Human Rights Center: Israeli occupation continues genocide in Gaza to seize control

The Palestinian Center for Human Rights said Saturday that Israeli forces are escalating the destruction of homes and neighborhoods in Gaza while expanding military control, in what it described as part of an ongoing genocide and efforts to enable forced displacement.

In a report on “X,” the center said field teams documented increased demolition of houses and infrastructure in areas under Israeli control, noting that over two million Palestinians are now confined to a small area under dire humanitarian conditions.

It added that recent strikes hit residential areas in Maghazi, Deir al-Balah, Jabalia, and Khan Younis, killing and injuring civilians and forcing further displacement.

The center stressed that evacuation warnings do not justify the destruction of civilian property or forced displacement, calling the actions a systematic effort to alter Gaza’s demographic reality.

It urged immediate international action to protect civilians, stop violations, and hold perpetrators accountable.
