The Presidency of the Yemeni Parliament has called for intensifying mobilization activities and general preparedness to “restore sovereignty and break the blockade.”
In a meeting held on Wednesday with heads and rapporteurs of parliamentary standing committees, the body renewed its support for the call of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, to draw a roadmap aimed at restoring sovereignty and ending the blockade.
The Presidency stated that Yemen has the right to regain its rights and expel occupiers from all Yemeni lands, waters, and islands, stressing the need to utilize national resources to pay state employee salaries and improve public services across the country.
It also called for expanding mobilization campaigns, rallies, and public demonstrations to reinforce a culture of general readiness, while emphasizing the importance of national unity and strengthening the internal front against conspiracies targeting the country.
In a separate statement, the Presidency of the Parliament hailed the victories achieved by the Islamic Republic of Iran, Lebanese resistance, and the broader Axis of Resistance against the United States and the Israeli enemy, saying these developments reflect the cohesion of resistance forces and reinforce the “unity of fronts” equation.
The remarks come amid a prolonged stalemate in the Yemeni peace process and continuing intransigence of the aggressor states regarding economic measures, public-sector salaries, control of natural resources, and the future status of southern and eastern governorates.
