Iran’s Assembly of Experts warns against “enemy schemes” in U.S. talks

Iran’s Assembly of Experts said ongoing negotiations with the United States must respect the Islamic Republic’s “red lines” and warned against what it called enemy attempts to mislead the process, according to a statement reported by Fars News Agency on Saturday.

The body praised Iranian negotiators while stressing caution and rejecting any repeat of past experiences.

It said Iran’s nuclear rights are non-negotiable and called for firm positions on sanctions relief, frozen assets, regional issues, and control of the Strait of Hormuz.

The statement also warned officials against showing weakness and urged that any agreements be finalized within set deadlines to prevent prolonged talks.
