Israeli Enemy Continues Ceasefire Violations with Airstrikes and Infiltration in Southern Lebanon

The Israeli enemy army continued its violations of the ceasefire agreement on Saturday, carrying out airstrikes and infiltrating southern Lebanon.

Lebanon’s National News Agency reported that Israeli enemy warplanes launched an evening airstrike on the town of Nabatiyeh al-Fawqa, following four drone strikes on the Al-Manazil neighborhood and the square in the same town earlier in the afternoon.

The agency stated that the Israeli enemy army infiltrated towards the outskirts of the town of Kafr Shuba in the Hasbaya district, accompanied by sweeping operations with medium and heavy machine guns.

It also noted that Israeli enemy forces fired three sound grenades at the town of Baraashit in the Bint Jbeil district, and carried out sweeping operations towards the town of Bayut al-Siyad in the Tyre district, while a Zionist drone flew over Al-Zahrani and neighboring villages at low altitude.

Since March 2 of last year, the Israeli enemy has escalated its criminal aggression on Lebanon, targeting Lebanese towns, villages, cities, and civilian properties, resulting in thousands of martyrs and wounded, and the displacement of more than one million Lebanese citizens.

On June 18 of this year, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that the Islamabad memorandum of understanding was signed electronically between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran, which included a ceasefire on all fronts, including Lebanon. However, Israeli enemy forces continue to commit daily violations of the agreement.
