Armed Forces Statement: Warning operational message to enemy against repeating any violation or aggression on Yemen

By confronting a formation of hostile Saudi warplanes and foiling its attempt to prevent an Iranian civilian aircraft from landing at Sana’a International Airport, the Yemeni Armed Forces delivered their first operational warning message to the arrogant Saudi regime against repeating any attempt to violate Yemeni airspace or carry out aggression against the country.

Through the military statement delivered by Armed Forces Spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the forces conveyed a clear message to the Saudi enemy that any reckless act against the Yemeni people will be met with a comprehensive and direct response targeting its airports and vital interests on land and at sea.

The statement marked the announcement of the success of an operation carried out by the Armed Forces at 5 a.m. on Friday, during which they confronted a violation committed by a formation of Saudi warplanes in Yemeni airspace, in an attempt to prevent a civilian Iranian aircraft carrying more than 200 passengers, including stranded individuals, wounded, and patients, from landing at Sana’a International Airport. The airport continues to remain under an unjust blockade imposed by the aggression coalition on both the airport and the country for nearly 11 years.

The military statement confirmed that the enemy aircraft formation’s attempt failed, by the grace of Allah, as the Yemeni Armed Forces responded by targeting it with a number of air defense missiles, forcing it to withdraw from Yemeni airspace, by Allah’s will and power.

The Armed Forces also affirmed that this qualitative operation represents the beginning of a new phase, whose title is that the Yemeni people will not accept the continuation of the unjust US- Saudi blockade on the country indefinitely, and that they will take all legitimate steps to end this siege.

Among the key messages delivered to the enemy was that all units of the Armed Forces are at full readiness for any options decided by Sayyid Leader Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and that they are fully prepared to carry out directives within the framework of lifting the US-Saudi blockade on the Yemeni people and ending any foreign presence on Yemeni soil.

Given that ending the blockade and guardianship over Sana’a International Airport has become an urgent popular and humanitarian demand, and an inevitable necessity to alleviate the suffering of more than twenty million Yemenis, the Armed Forces affirmed they will no longer accept the continuation of this unjust blockade on the airport, which represents Yemen’s window to the world.

They also announced the continuation of flights between Sana’a and Tehran, God willing, to break the blockade and ease the suffering of the oppressed Yemeni people, regardless of consequences and repercussions. They urged the enemy to reconsider its calculations and think many times before approaching Yemen or becoming involved again in any form of aggression.

The statement concluded by expressing appreciation and respect for the position of the Islamic Republic of Iran in taking the initiative to break the blockade on Sana’a International Airport, and in transporting patients, stranded individuals, and the official and popular delegation participating in the funeral of the martyr Sayyid Ali Khamenei, may Allah’s mercy be upon him.

The statement carried numerous messages both externally and internally, including a call for the Yemeni people to continue general mobilization and strengthen combat readiness in response to the Leader’s call to end the aggression and blockade and liberate the remaining occupied areas. It clearly indicated that the Yemeni people—leadership, population, and armed forces—are at maximum readiness to act as one, and that what comes after this statement will not be the same as what came before it.
