Israeli enemy forces raid several villages, towns in Ramallah, Al-Bireh in WB, Jabal al-Mukaber, southeast of Al-Quds

Several areas in Ramallah and al-Bireh governorate witnessed a series of raids and clashes with Israeli forces on Monday, in addition to settler attacks in a village east of the governorate.

Local sources, according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, reported that clashes broke out between Palestinian youths and Israeli forces in the towns of Beit Rima and Kafr Ein, northwest of Ramallah, amid the firing of tear gas and rubber-coated bullets by Israeli forces.

In Al-Bireh, Israeli forces raided Satah Marhaba neighborhood in the city of al-Bireh on Monday, amid a heavy military deployment in the area.

Local sources told Wafa that Israeli enemy forces took up positions on the roof of a building on the eastern side of the neighborhood, overlooking the Psagot settlement, which is built on Palestinian land, with dozens of soldiers in complete control of the site.

Sources added that the raid was accompanied by a large deployment of forces in the surrounding area, but the nature of the measures being implemented by the Israeli forces remains unknown.

In occupied Al-Quds, on Tuesday, crews from the Israeli municipality, accompanied by Israeli police, raided the town of Jabal al-Mukabber, southeast of occupied Jerusalem. They distributed demolition orders and building violation notices to a number of Palestinian residents, claiming the structures were built without permits.

Palestinian local sources reported that the municipality crews conducted a field tour of the town under the protection of Israeli forces, delivering demolition orders, notices, and building violation notices to several residents. This is part of Israel’s policy of restricting Palestinian residents and imposing strict limitations on construction and urban expansion in occupied Al-Quds.

In a related development, Israeli enemy forces tightened their military measures at the entrance to the town of Kafr Aqab, north of occupied Jerusalem. This caused a severe traffic jam, with long lines of vehicles and disruptions to residents’ movement for hours.

Villages north and east of Ramallah are subjected to frequent raids and attacks by Israeli forces and settlers, as part of an ongoing policy of escalation against Palestinian citizens and their property.

The Israeli enemy also continues to impose severe restrictions on the movement of citizens in Al-Quds and its surrounding areas, in parallel with an escalation of its policy of demolitions and demolition orders against their homes, as part of measures aimed at reducing the Palestinian presence in the city.
