Officials, Leaders Offer Condolences on Martyrdom of Leader of Islamic Revolution at Iranian Embassy in Sana’a
The Iranian Embassy in Sana’a received a large number of mourners on Tuesday, offering their condolences on the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
A number of state officials, members of the Cabinet, Parliament, and Shura Council, judicial, political, military, and security leaders, representatives of organizations and parties, prominent social figures, tribal sheikhs, and dignitaries offered their condolences to the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Yemen, Mohammad Rezaei, and to the Iranian people and the entire Muslim world on the martyrdom of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
During the visit, in which they were received by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Abdulwahid Abu Ras, and the Iranian Ambassador to Sana’a, the visitors expressed their deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the leadership and people of Iran on the martyrdom of the courageous leader, Ayatollah Khamenei.
They praised the stances, courage, steadfastness, and resilience of the martyred leader Khamenei, and his prominent roles in the various critical junctures the nation has faced in its struggles and vital issues. They also commended the Islamic Republic’s steadfastness in confronting the forces of global tyranny and arrogance—namely, America and Israel—and its honorable and unwavering positions in supporting the nation’s causes, foremost among them the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people in the face of the Zionist war of extermination.
They lauded Iran’s prominent humanitarian and fraternal role in breaking the siege imposed on the Yemeni people, citing the historic act of sending the first Iranian plane to break the blockade imposed by the American-Saudi aggression coalition on Sana’a International Airport, which provided genuine support to the Yemenis in their darkest hour.
The visiting leaders affirmed that the Islamic Republic of Iran has been, and will remain, a model of making immense sacrifices for the advancement of the nation and its just causes, particularly supporting Gaza and the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance.
The visitors explained that Iran’s unlimited support for the resistance axis and the Palestinian and Lebanese factions has been a fundamental pillar in the steadfastness of the fronts and in confronting the arrogant and domineering Zionist enemy, backed by the United States.
They also affirmed that these sacrifices will only increase the nation’s and the resistance axis’s resolve and determination to confront the forces of arrogance until victory is achieved. They reiterated that Yemen, both its leadership and people, stands with Iran in confronting the arrogance and aggression of the global powers of arrogance, namely America and Israel.
For his part, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Sana’a expressed his profound gratitude and deep appreciation to the country’s leadership and officials for offering their condolences. He emphasized that this fraternal gesture embodies the depth of the strong bonds of brotherhood that unite the two countries and their brotherly peoples in a single trench to confront the challenges.
Rezaei pointed out that the positions of Yemen, both leadership and people, and their honorable support for Iran, reflect a high awareness of the enemies’ conspiracies. He emphasized the continuation of following the path and principles of the Islamic Revolution in supporting the oppressed and resisting the forces of hegemony and arrogance.
