President Al-Mashat Hails ‘Historic Marches,’ Warns Retaliatory Response

The president, Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, has praised the Yemeni people for their “great and magnificent” turnout in the “Friday of Warning and Mobilization” marches, responding to the call of Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi.

In a statement, Al-Mashat said: “Thank you to our great people who came out today in an honorable march in response to the Leader’s call—my soul is a sacrifice for him and for you.”
‘Adjust Your Clocks to Sana’a Time’
“When the Leader warns and the people of faith and wisdom respond—officially and popularly—then adjust your clocks to Sana’a time,” Al-Mashat stated, signaling that Yemen’s political and military posture is now calibrated to the leadership’s directives.
The President emphasized that “in the face of legitimate rights and just demands, challenges fall.” He declared: “Either rights for everyone, or rights for no one”—a statement underscoring the leadership’s commitment to pursuing a comprehensive resolution to the US-Saudi aggression, rejecting partial or conditional solutions.
This followed leader’s televised address on July 16, in which he announced a new deterrence equation linking Saudi airports, ports, and strategic infrastructure to the continuation of the blockade on Yemen. The speech came after Saudi strikes on Sana’a International Airport and subsequent Yemeni military operations targeting Abha International Airport, developments that Yemeni officials say mark the end of the previous period of reduced escalation.
