Abdulsalam: Saudi Blockade Continues Despite Years of UN Appeals

Mohammed Abdulsalam, head of Yemen’s National Delegation, said on Monday that the Saudi aggression and blockade on Yemen has continued for 12 years despite repeated appeals and calls from the UN.

Abdulsalam stated the blockade remains in place, describing it as evidence of the continued hardships facing the Yemeni people and rejecting Saudi saying that Yemen is not under blockade.

His remarks come as Yemen continues to enforce its maritime ban on Saudi-linked shipping, which is intended to pressure Saudi Arabia to end the blockade and military operations.

Yemeni officials have repeatedly stated that the country will maintain its current measures until its stated objectives are achieved.
