Ansarullah Political Bureau member Mohammed Al-Farah said Saudi Arabia is caught in contradictions over its Yemen policy, saying Riyadh cannot escape the need to end the aggression and occupation of Yemen.
In a post on X on Sunday, Al-Farah said Saudi Arabia is trying to act simultaneously as a combatant, negotiator and mediator, while seeking to satisfy the United States and present itself as a leader of the Muslim world despite aligning with the Zionist entity.
He said Riyadh is attempting to maintain a posture of neutrality while continuing to support and mobilize its allied forces in Yemen, creating a political contradiction that cannot be resolved through alliances or statements of condemnation.
Al-Farah said the core issue is ending the aggression and blockade, withdrawing Saudi military forces from Yemen, addressing the consequences of the war and rebuilding what was destroyed.
He stressed that any political maneuvering cannot remove Saudi Arabia’s obligation to respect Yemen’s sovereignty and independence.
The statement comes amid continued tensions over Saudi Arabia’s role in Yemen, where Riyadh has sought to portray itself as pursuing a political settlement while remaining deeply involved in aggression against Yemen.
Sana’a has repeatedly called for an end to Saudi military involvement, the lifting of restrictions and the withdrawal of foreign forces, stressing that Yemen’s sovereignty cannot be reconciled with continued military pressure or support for allied forces on the ground.
