Airstrikes, explosions, and artillery shelling by the Israeli enemy army targeted a number of towns in southern Lebanon today, Saturday, continuing the Zionist violations of the ceasefire agreement.
Lebanon’s National News Agency reported that an Israeli enemy drone targeted a shepherd in the Wadi Sarbein area of the Bint Jbeil district without injuring him, while enemy warplanes carried out two airstrikes targeting the area between Sarbein and Rashaf.
It also reported that the Israeli enemy army carried out a massive explosion in the town of Talousa, while enemy artillery conducted concentrated shelling on the Ali al-Taher forest on the outskirts of Nabatiyeh al-Fawqa in the Nabatiyeh district.
The Lebanese agency noted that the town of Mansouri, south of Tyre, was subjected to artillery shelling by the enemy army, causing fires to break out.
Since March 2, the Israeli enemy has escalated its criminal aggression on Lebanon, targeting Lebanese towns, villages, cities, and civilian structures, resulting in thousands of martyrs and wounded, and the displacement of approximately one and a half million Lebanese citizens.
On June 18, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that an Islamabad memorandum of understanding had been electronically signed between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran, which included a ceasefire on all fronts, including Lebanon. However, Israeli enemy forces continue to commit daily violations of the agreement.
